• Medical Appointments—scheduling, driving, accompanying, note-taking, sharing appointment findings with family members

• Transport and accompany—personal care appointments (hair, nails), scheduling, driving, accompanying

• Shopping & Errands—groceries, returns, pick-up mobility equipment, pharmacy, post office, Costco, Safeway, Macy’s, etc. —along with senior, or go and get

• Personal Care—check blood pressure and weight, manicure nail care, replace hearing aid batteries and filters

• Exercises and walks—in or out of wheel chair or walker

• Medication—ordering, picking up, sorting, filling

• Administration—bills, accounts, insurance, correcting errors, setting up services

• Technology Help—Setting up computer, TV, phone, updating cellphone software

• Laundry, bedding

• Cooking—meal prep, grocery lists

• Companionship—reading, writing cards and letters with senior

• Communication and coordination with family members

Non-Routine Senior Needs

• Choosing eyeglasses at optical appointments

• Turning mattress

• Washing and ironing bedskirt

• Replacing light bulbs

• Changing all batteries in smoke detectors

• Minor repairs

• Technology help—setting up internet, TV, computer and cellphone, updating cellphone software, solving printer issues

• Setting up on-demand delivery and pick-up services, such as Instacart, Door Dash, Uber, Walmart, pharmacy delivery, etc.

• Organizing refrigerator, under sinks, closets, etc.

• Holiday decorating, cards, shopping, wrapping, tree, lights, clean-up/storage

• Completing aging in place home checklist and make any needed adjustments
