Their pecan bars (and lemon bars) are outrageous. Perfect salt ratio, whole chunks of pecans, delicious crust. I haven’t had better yet. I love to buy several and freeze them for later. Good coffee too!

Larch Restaurant, Leavenworth

This almost feels like a secret when you come upon it. It’s off an alley, in a small and charming space. They have locally sourced ingredients, incredible mushroom appetizer with balsamic glaze, handmade pastas, delicious cocktails like the beet shrub margarita….I think this is one of the top restaurants in Leavenworth!

Legend Ice Cream, East Wenatchee

I didn’t try this ice cream for two years because the storefront looks like an oil changing station but they started selling in small, local stores so I finally tried it. Gold rush and strawberry cheesecake are my favorites. It is rich and thick, tastes quality, it really surprised me. If you stop by their shop, they don’t do by the scoop but sell half pints, which is a good way to try out flavors. They do birthday ice cream cakes too!

Bear Foods Natural Market, Chelan

Bear Foods is so inspiring and sells specialty items like vanilla beans and elderflower cordial. Everywhere you look there’s quality and thoughtfulness. This shop is a blessing to the area!
